We got a Funk-Track with two Parts + Intro on 100 BPM.
Intro is:1 Bar | Dm E9 |
Part A is: 16 Bars Am6 and Am7
Part B (Chorus) is: 8 Bars | Dm7 | Cmaj7 | Dm7 | Gadd9 F | Dm7 | Cmaj7 | Dm7 | Dm E9 |
The main scale for this Backingtrack is A-minor. But you can change between these three variations:
A-minor Scale: [A - B - C - D - E - F - G]
A-Minor Pentatonic: [A - C - D - E - G]
A-Dorian: [A - B - C - D - E - F# - G]
I would play the dorian scale over "Part-A" but you need to be carefull with the F# when the Am7 is played. Over "Part-B" i would play the pentatonic or the a-minor scale.
